IT’S GIRL SCOUT COOKIE TIME!
Though I’ve made it clear from the get‑go that my name Grandma GirlScout is in no way related to “the” Girls Scouts,
Whenever you go someplace fun, for heaven’s sake, elevate it to the status of “Field Trip!” Be sure to join me on some of my wild adventures!
“Field trip.” Do those words make your inner child just want to jump up and down? Does it make you want to hop into a big yellow bus with some other little inner children, sack lunch in hand, to be taken to overwhelmingly cool sights and sounds you never knew existed? Join me on my zany, fun adventures!
As adults, our ventures into new experiences and places can still be opportunities to learn. After all, field trips inherently require that you plan ahead to come away with a greater appreciation of the world around you. Whether simply sitting by a roaring waterfall or exploring an underground cave, you can stumble upon an exciting new discovery. And if we take children along, remember that to them, our vehicles can be just as exciting as that big yellow bus. All abooooard!
Though I’ve made it clear from the get‑go that my name Grandma GirlScout is in no way related to “the” Girls Scouts,
I feel like I sort of won a lottery, except I didn’t have to choose any numbers.
